About Maura
I’m from Minneapolis and I went to the University of Minnesota as well as the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I’m the creative type: I love interior design and look forward with excitement to watching plays and concerts as soon as possible. It’s always energizing to me to discuss the arts, movies, and design. I’ve won a few vacations from Volkswagen thanks to my high performance; we went to Costa Rica, Aruba, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. If you’re headed to any of those destinations feel free to ask me for my perspective. I might just give you some fun ideas! With more than twenty years of experience in the industry, I’m Master Certified through Volkswagen and I love our awesome product line. I’m grateful to be able to help our customers find the right fit for their needs. Customers like me because I stick up for them and I do everything I can to be honest, courteous, and direct.

Maura was laid back, professional and knowledgeable - no pressure to buy! She wanted to ensure all my questions were answered vs pushing for a sale. I have purchased more than 20 vehicles in the past 41 years - from porsches to Supra twin turbos, multiple Landcruisers, 3 priuses, 2 highlanders, 3 tercels, teslas, miatas, corvettes, broncos and three lexuses. This was the easiest purchase ever. A fair price on the only two tone ID Buzz Pro S plus left in the US and a fair trade for my 18 year old lexus Las600hL. Whilenit wasn’t a ridiculous good deal it was a very good deal and easy to consumate. My time is worth more than the haggling across multiple dealerships for days. I got a better trade offer vs other dealers (and Telsa which was a ridiculous auction offer $3k less). Their discount was withing $1k of the lowest I have seen. Most of all, Maura did this via text versus sitting in a dealership wasting hours!

Maura was extremely knowledgeable, calm and reassuring given this was our first electric car purchase, and very patient! She was able to help us pivot when the first car we looked at was sold before we could come back to purchase it. She stayed late to help us finish the purchase when we were again delayed coming back to purchase the car. She has checked in several times since to ensure we are comfortable with the changes of an electric car from a traditional car. Maura was able to give us little tips and tricks that some people may not think about like how to make sure to have the rear door not open too high if you have a low garage ceiling and how to keep a difficult parking maneuver stored if you need to do it routinely. Really a special, thoughtful salesperson. Don't ever let her go!

Maura has helped me lease and buy cars for close to 30 years. The thing that makes it such a great experience each time is that she really knows her cars, first of all. This time I asked my son to join me in choosing a car. He asks a lot of questions! She answered every one of them clearly and to our satisfaction. I’m now 78, and he knows what a good sales person she is, so he wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. I love my car and I’m always impressed by Maura and all of the other people that have helped me over the years at Westside.
